Wines you should know about!

When we go out for dinner, Kent frequently asks the server, "what would you order, tonight?" So just in case you're uncertain about what to try, this is our answer to that question! You'll find these wines on our Pricing page. All of them are drinkable now, but all can bottle age nicely for up to 10 years.

Esoterica Late Harvest Viognier: A lovely "sticky" wine, very sweet, and a perfect gift to bring to a host or hostess who is having you over for dinner. It IS dessert, and is perfect to serve alone, with cheese, or with cookies like shortbread. If you are asked to bring dessert, bring this and a wedge of manchego with some quince paste and light crackers!

Kent Rasmussen Winery Pinot Noir: You can't go wrong with our Pinot; this wine is balanced enough to suit many palates and complement many cuisines. And if you're looking for a gift, it's a good bet for someone whose wine preferences aren't a known quantity.

Esoterica Petite Sirah: Many of you have been awaiting our next release of Petite, and here it is. This wine will age for a long time, but is drinkable now. Buy at least two bottles, drink one soon and put the other down for a couple of years to see how beautifully it ages.
