Change is afoot

Here at Kent Rasmussen Winery we are making some changes.  In the grand scheme of things, they are relatively small changes, but they will likely equal a more vibrant KRW from your perspective.

WE ARE MOVING TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION.

Yes, it’s true!  We’ll be moving back to our original home in the Napa Carneros.  We’ve been longing for a return to our roots, so we’ve applied for permits to expand our Carneros winery property, which gives a chance to update our facility and equipment.

WE’VE UPDATED OUR WEBSITE.

New features include:

• A blog, where we hope you will be active in asking questions, or posting any comments you might have.
• No online shopping cart.  You will still be able to download an order form, or order by email or phone.  Some new compliance rules for credit card security moved us in this direction, but we are now excited to be able to use Square—which is very secure, so we can accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express.  We sincerely hope you won’t find this any more cumbersome than ordering through the shopping cart.  In addition to ordering by email, fax or phone, we hope you will ask us where our wine can be bought near you—we have many retailers and restaurants who we would like to support this way, since they support us by buying our wines.
• Quarterly special deals; watch the home page for announcements of special discounts
